Scott Delaney graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and a Minor in Business Administration. After graduation he moved back to his hometown of Mobile, AL and worked for AmSouth Bank before joining his family business, Delaney Development, Inc. in 2003.

Currently he serves as a Vice president, Commercial Properties and is on the Board of Directors for Delaney Development, Inc. As a principal member and broker of Delaney Land and Realty, L.L.C. his primary focus is on commercial brokerage and development services. He is currently working on a number of projects throughout the south east that include single tenant Build to Suit, Mixed Use land development and Grocery Anchored shopping centers. 

Scott is a licensed real estate broker as well as a registered forester in the state of Alabama. He is active in the Mobile Area Association of Realtors where he serves on the Board of Directors and on the governmental affairs committee.

Scott is very active in the community serving on the board of directors for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, The Mobile Public Library, and St. Paul’s Episcopal School. He also serves as the Vice President of Tournaments for the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club.   

When not working, Scott is usually hunting, fishing, playing golf, or spending time with his family.
